There are many medical procedures that Ocala Lung and Critical Care can help you with.

Through a Bronchoscopy we are able to examine your larynx, throat, trachea, and lower respiratory tract. Through this we are able to visualize your respiratory tract in order to diagnose any related disease or trauma. Additionally, tissue biopsies may be taken during a Bronchoscopy procedure. Combined we are able to recommend and provide you the appropriate treatment.

One of the most recent advancements in pulmonary medicine is Navigational Bronchoscopy. The outer reach of your bronchial tract is not broad enough for a normal Bronchoscope. We can detect, diagnose, and even treat areas that before were only accessible with invasive approaches. Navigational Bronchoscopy is minimally invasive and most often occurs as an outpatient procedure so you can return home the same day!

Other medical procedures include Thoracentesis whereby we remove fluid from the space between your lungs and your chest wall and an Endobronchial Ultrasound, another minimally invasive procedure that is very effective, used for diagnosing and treating medical issues affecting the lymph nodes in your chest.
